You will serve as a LEAD TECHNICIAN in the ENGAGEMENT SYSTEMS ASSESSMENT DIVISION, PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV, located in Corona, CA.
Duties
You will serve as lead ePATAS (enhanced Portable Advanced Telemetry Acquisition System) Technician.
You will provide leadership and support in configuring, operating, and maintaining the complex Telemetry Auto-Tracking system (ePATAS) deployed onboard ship for long-range missile testing and live data streaming utilizing the latest TMOIP technology.
You will be responsible for operational readiness and maintenance of associated telemetry shipboard instrumentation.
You will assist in the management, operation, and maintenance of portable shipboard telemetry systems hardware and software.
You will report on Auto-Tracking antenna performance, according to RCC IRIG 118-20 Vol2 test procedures, as well as operational readiness of equipment.
You will demonstrate the ability to deploy and operate auto-tracking antenna in open ocean environment for large scale testing.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical guidance for the configuration and operation of telemetry systems onboard ships for long-range testing and data streaming.
