You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the Electrical Electro Optic Measurements Branch (MS32) of the Measurement Sciences Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV, Corona, California.
Duties
You will serve as the RF Microwave Lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for various measurement parameters related to Electro-Electronic, Microwave and Electro Mechanical measurement disciplines,
You will provide training and mentoring of technicians, engineers, and other METCAL professionals,
You will interpret program tasking and establish common understanding of program objectives, constraints, and interactions among technical personnel in relation to NAVSEA In-Service and METCAL Programs,
You will represent the Measurement Science Department on ad hoc task teams or panels convened to make recommendations and focus on DoD-wide policies and procedures related to RF Microwave measurements,
You will develop innovative methods for addressing gaps in measurement capability within the defined measurement areas of responsibility,
You will interact regularly with customers to provide status reports, technical advice and to obtain information and make recommendations concerning future requirements,
You will develop Instrument Calibration Procedures in accordance with technical requirements,
You will prepare and deliver presentations or reports, and interpret and document implementation constraints for successful implementation strategies,
You will provide in-service support through analysis of Fleet calibration problems and engineering investigations, and conduct research and analysis for the selection, acquisition, and deployment of new calibration standards,
You will review and approve work products developed by others within the assigned measurement disciplines,
You will exercise judgement, resourcefulness, and ingenuity to ensure the successful operation of programs assigned to meet immediate and long-term objectives.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) or grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing technical guidance and in-service support (e.g., analysis of Fleet calibration problems, engineering investigations, research and analysis ) for the selection, acquisition, or deployment of calibration standards for Electro-Electronic, Microwave or Electro Mechanical measurement programs to achieve mission objectives.
