You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the FMS Maritime Division of the FMS Operations Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will serve as the Branch Head and principal technical advisor for IPS and sustainment support of FMS weapon systems and related equipment.
You will recommend corrective actions, management policies, and procedures to achieve FMS IPS goals and objectives.
You will adjust and approve budgets and logistics plans to ensure supportability in terms of material affordability.
You will serve as the technical representative of the Contracting Officer in the monitoring of material and service contracts.
You will directly supervise approximately a dozen personnel and perform the full range of supervisory functions over subordinates.

- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- This is a Key Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) position and requires a DoD SCW Certification. Selectee must obtain and maintain certification within prescribed timeframes. SCW level required: SC451
Qualifications
You resume should demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must include the following: 1) Supporting supply systems/programs and mission requirements by managing workloads and assigning tasks; 2) Reviewing and analyzing Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Integrated Product Support (IPS) plans, policies, and procedures; 3) Allocating, adjusting, and reviewing budgets to support logistics plans; 4) Briefing upper management and customers through oral and written communication; 5) Directing and supervising subordinates by ensuring mission objectives and goals are being met, communicating work policies and procedures, developing training programs, etc.
