About the Position: Serves as the Supervisory Acquisition Analyst for Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS), Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions (TAGM) Project Office.
Position is subject to a salary control point equivalent to the GS-14, step 10 base salary. Salary for the position will be set within a range from $127,073 to $165,197 with locality. If the incumbent's salary currently exceeds this level, the salary control point will be the incumbent's existing salary.
Duties
Direct all activities associated with contract management and efficiency of contract processes and actions.
Coordinates with major subordinate staff to coordinate procurement plans and programs.
Review correspondence, policy, and other business management materials for accuracy to meet strategic goals and objectives.
Review, approve or redirect procurement planning.
Direct the development, production, and fielding of a major aviation weapon system and/or related mission equipment.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- Selectee must execute a written tenure agreement to remain in Federal service in the position for at least three years.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Contracting Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.
- Temporary Duty Travel may be required up to 15% of the time.
- A one-year supervisory probationary period is required unless already completed.

Specialized Experience: One year of experience which includes: 1) In-depth knowledge of aviation weapon systems; 2) Ability to lead a group/team in developing, maintaining, and coordinating acquisition plans and programs to assure timely and economical requirements are met; and 3) Experience working with contracting agencies to ensure contracts are taken from requirements definition to contract award.
This typically includes work performed at the next lower grade/level (NH-03/GS-13) position in the federal service.
