About the Position: The U.S. Army Contracting Command was established on March 14,2008. The mission of the ACC is to oversee more than $85 billion in contracts annually and focus on maintaining and improving the Army's ability to respond globally in support of the warfighter's needs.

Duties

Provide executive administrative control for staff actions and executive correspondence to effectively manage the programs/missions. Review actions for conformance with guidance, thoroughness, content, tone, and security markings to ensure issues are properly answered. Provide advice and information on all organizational policies and administrative regulations and advises of any changes. Monitor all actions through completion, providing assistance and direction as requested. Researches appropriate DoD protocol instructions and regulations.

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Education cannot be substituted for experience. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). Applicants must confirm eligibility and minimum qualification requirements within 30 calendar days of the closing date of the announcement.
