About the Position: The U.S. Army Contracting Command was established on March 14,2008. The mission of the ACC is to oversee more than $85 billion in contracts annually and focus on maintaining and improving the Army's ability to respond globally in support of the warfighter's needs.
Duties
Provide executive administrative control for staff actions and executive correspondence to effectively manage the programs/missions.
Review actions for conformance with guidance, thoroughness, content, tone, and security markings to ensure issues are properly answered.
Provide advice and information on all organizational policies and administrative regulations and advises of any changes.
Monitor all actions through completion, providing assistance and direction as requested.
Researches appropriate DoD protocol instructions and regulations.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Reviewing administrative tasks in relation to travel, personnel actions, and special projects to determine appropriateness to meet Command's mission; (2) Coordinates center wide events based on appropriate DoD instructions and regulations; (3) Preparing senior correspondence to meet guidelines and regulations; and (4) Knowledge of appropriate DoD protocol regulations and instructions.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
