About the Position: The primary purpose for this job is to: (1) plan and coordinate POI course training support requirements; (2) analyze POI scheduling, development and modifications; (3) conduct and attend coordination meetings; and ( 4) de-conflict master and final training schedules.
Duties
Coordinate all support requirements (i.e., ammunitions, ranges, training area, troops, and equipment) in support of courses.
Review schedules and coordinates ranges and training areas IAW Range Facility Management Support System (RFMSS).
Coordinate equipment and facilities for instructor training of new equipment to be trained as part of existing POIs.
Conduct detailed evaluation of all resources needed to conduct instructions IAW POI/equipment summary.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Shift work and/or weekend work could be required based on the training mission.
- This position is subject to the provisions of the Domestic Violence Offender Gun Ban commonly referred to as the Lautenberg Amendment.
- This is an Army Drug Testing position which requires mandatory drug testing.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience performing administrative functions in support of student training and/or instructing such as, identifying training requirements, developing program of instructions training, and using automated systems such as the resource automated training schedule system to coordinate and schedule course training. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Education.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the second lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
