About the Position: Serves as a Training Requirements Analyst with the responsibility of monitoring class schedules and managing distribution and fill for all training seats for the MCoE taught TRADOC and/or DoD schools to ensure compliance with training requirements identified in the Army Program for Individual Training (ARPRINT).

Duties

Performs analysis of statistical material and data generated from the total MCoE training program and prepares a variety of reports and correspondence. Serves as the Fort Moore subject matter expert and primary trainer for ATMS and ATRRS. Ensures that class and quota allocation changes are timely and appropriately coordinated with applicable user agencies to ensure no conflict exists in student accommodation. Reviews, coordinates, and ensures all follow-on courses are scheduled to coincide with the close dates of the main course. Develops and maintains procedures for all user functions. Assigns appropriate permissions to users.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Classroom ManagementData Collection and AnalysisEducation and Training Program AdministrationTraining Program Evaluation Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-08).
