About the Position: Serves as a Senior Analyst in the Directorate of Prevention, Readiness and Resilience, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff. Duties involve leading the Army's Integrated plans, and programs for the Installation Enterprise to enable and ready soldiers and families.
This position is a TERM Not to Exceed 2 years position. It is time-limited and may be extended up to a maximum of eight years. Position cannot be made permanent.
Duties
Responsible for Soldier and Family programs development, review, coordination, and justification of requirements to establish resourcing for programs.
Presents or coordinates program analysis, findings and recommendations through variety of techniques and in accordance with Army staff and organizational guidelines.
Coordinates with other staff stakeholders and command subject matter experts (SME's), comparing programs, requirements and budgets, analyzes comparative data looking for inequities and inefficiencies.
Integrate, supervise and assess execution of policies, resources, plans, and programs for the Installation Enterprise to enable ready Soldiers and Families.

Requirements

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Developing evaluation criteria to measure the effectiveness of programs; 2) monitoring problems to develop recommendations to meet program goals; and 3) preparing briefings regarding resource, program or policy issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
