You will serve as a FINANICAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the G-4, Installation and Logistics Department, Budget Branch of MCRD ERR PI SC.

Duties

You will assist in the formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs and activities. You will adapt financial management practices and procedures to address programmatic issues. You will analyze financial management control procedures to implement process improvements for operational effectiveness. You will review financial expenditures to determine compliance with laws and regulations. You will identify problems and recommend solutions for projects related to financial management. You will perfom work involving managerial or administrative work in connections with accounting systems, analytical, forecasting related to the management and control of resources, or dunds.

• This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: ???????Providing technical expertise in accounting and budget matters, preparing or evaluating financial reports and statements, reporting on obligations and expenditures and performing other financial administrative processes. • Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR
• 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR
