About the Position: This position is DIRECTOR, LOGISTICS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (LAP)
Serve as Director for Logistics Assistance Directorate (LAD) and Logistics Assistance Program (LAP) within the Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC),and is responsible for all aspects of a worldwide program that spans multiple geographical areas
Duties
Plans, organizes and directs all LAD work engaged in technical and logistic support operations providing global sustainment support to all AMLC LCMC medical materiel and customers.
Directs program through subordinate supervisors who guide and control a workforce of approximately 32 employees engaged in professional, technical and administrative work, and has overall responsibility for planning, authoritative interpretation, and decision making for a comprehensive worldwide program encompassing the national level mission of maintenance and support for thousands of Department of the Army (DA) medical devices, and their associated support/ancillary equipment.
Exercises management and direction over the materiel program planning; organizing, directing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating the application of AMLC LAP resources
Requirements
- This position requires a secret security clearance.
- This position may require up to 50% TDY.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Certification within 48 months of entrance on duty.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports)
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- The incumbent must file a statement of employment and financial interest (DD Form1555) as required by AR 600-50

Specialized Experience is defined as having one year at the next lower grade level or equivalent pay band level performing the following duties;
1. Developing equipment distribution solutions after identifying problems or deficiencies; analyzing policies, procedures, or regulatory requirements in order to evaluate their impact on current equipment support operations; AND
2. Briefing executive level management on equipment distribution in order to assist them with their short and long-term program planning.
