The selectee for this position will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (ER/LR) in the Human Resources & Organizational Management Branch of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will serve as an onsite consultant to commands by performing various labor and intertwined employee relation services at the local level to meet immediate and long-range needs..
You will assist in developing strategies for supervisors and managers to meet labor relations obligations.
You will provide technical assistance at supervisory level meetings to identify needs and provide solutions to individual cases/problems.
You will coordinate case management with legal counsel or with Processing Center as appropriate.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.

- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
GS-11:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Advising the commands on various labor and employee relations services and assist in developing strategies for management to meet labor relations obligations.
GS-09:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting in developing strategies for management to meet labor relations obligations.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-11:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
GS-09:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
