About the Position: Selected applicant will be assigned to the Joint Project for CBRN Special Operations Forces (JPM CBRN SOF). This is a pay banded position. The NH-04 band encompasses grade 14 and 15 under the General Schedule (GS) system. This position is subject to a salary control point established in the JPEO-CRND Acquisition Demo Business Rules. This control point limits salary to a max of $181,216 (GS-14, step 10).
Duties
Provides critical, high-level review on a wide range of procedures, action papers, staff studies, regulations, and policies relating to the operational efficiency of the organization.
Manages all day-to-day operational aspects of the organization on behalf of the Joint Project Manager (JPM) and Deputy Joint Project Manager (DJPM).
Performs the full range of administrative and technical team lead duties for all assigned civilian, military, and contract support personnel.
Works daily with higher headquarters staff from the Program Executive Office (PEO), Department of Army, and Department of Defense to manage the organization’s response to all taskers and requests for information.
Assists the JPM and DJPM in maintaining a system that tracks and reports the status of taskers, assets, program acquisition documents, and other elements supporting the operation of the JPM and subordinate program offices.
Requirements

- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 10% of the time.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

Specialized Experience: In order to qualify based on experience your resume must describe, at least one year of specialized experience at the NH-03/GS-13 (or equivalent) level in the Federal Service that includes: 1) Assisting leadership with workforce shaping efforts to improve organizational efficiency; 2) Developing and managing operational policies and procedures; 3) Managing high-level taskers and document approvals on behalf of the organizations' senior leaders; 4) Resolving inter-organizational conflicts and mitigating their impact on day-to-day operations.
The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-03/GS-13 or equivalent.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent NH-03/GS-13.
