About the Position: Serves as a Human Resources Specialist, reviewing applications and supporting information for the correction of military records.

Duties

Review, screen and analyze applications by employing a range of fact-finding and analytical techniques and procedures to properly interpret varied and complex factual situations pertaining to military human resources. Present comprehensive written and/or oral summaries of advisory opinions, medical reviews and/or issues stemming from additional evidence to assist processing cases. Confers with key stakeholders across both internal divisions and external agencies prior to cases being moved to any Board for final processing in order to narrow or clarify any issues involved. Review and assist in the processing of taskings which request personnel, legal, finance, and medical advisory opinions in support of cases seen by any of the twelve administrative boards.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
