You will serve as a Program and Management Analyst in the Aircraft Department of Fleet Readiness Center Mid-Atlantic in Norfolk, VA.
Duties
You will require knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of administrative and technical programs.
You will manage a long-term workload planning and management process and recommend solutions for workload problems through planning strategies to meet workload requirements.
You will analyze, evaluate and apply theories, concepts and principles of program management.
You will translate data into information, charts, graphs and narratives.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Temporary actions taken under this announcement may be made permanent without further competition.
- This position requires rotating shift work.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Analyze major program labor categories as compared to workload standards and identify anomalies/trends to ensure program conformity to schedule, labor and material planned values; 2) Conduct industrial production maintenance workload program execution analysis and audits of man-hour expenditures versus planned allocations; 3) Gather data and perform analytic studies in order to make recommendations on substantive workload standard manpower issues and deviations; 4) Analyze and identify significant trends in executed workload and potential issues within the production phases; 5) Prepare and present reports detailing justifications of projected workload completion forecasts and estimated workload standard projections.
