About the Position: The incumbent will serve as a Workforce Management Specialist for the Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB) of the U.S. Army Sustainment Command (ASC) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.

Duties

Advise management on positions and personnel actions to include professional, technical, and administrative occupations of all grade levels. Provide training and assistance to others on civilian personnel matters. Review and analyze new and updated human resource management directives, policies, procedures, and requirements for significant changes. Serve as liaison between management, the Civilian Human Resources Service Center (CHRSC), and higher headquarters for all classification and position management actions. Perform in-depth reviews of outgoing personnel actions and position action requests. Provide quality control of outgoing workforce management documents ensuring material is ready for processing by the CHRSC. Provide advice and assistance to others regarding discipline, adverse actions, grievances, performance management and recognition, employee counseling, and related functions.
