You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Maritime Division of the International Programs Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. #LI-NAVSUPWSS

Duties

You will make sound performance improvement recommendations and plans of action to supervisor for consideration and possible implementation. You will conduct regular meetings with program members to discuss any issues related to the internal RoR processes, policies and/or WebRoR. You will serve as the focal point and customer advocate for FMS RoR issues. You will review budget submissions for Case Managers.

  • This is a Non-Key Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) position and requires a DoD SCW Certification. Selectee must obtain and maintain certification within prescribed timeframes. SCW level required: SC451.

Qualifications

I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. 1) Monitoring and coordinating execution in support of current and prospective international partners and is responsible for the accuracy of the logistics and financial data within the RoR web-based management systems known as WebRoR; 2) Prioritizing, monitoring, and controlling Repair Managers' progress and throughputs as well as coordinating assignments with Supply Technicians to ensure timely and quality delivery of all customer repairs and integrity of related international partner data in WebRoR; 3) Performing intermediary communications between Repair Managers and international partners, case managers, repair facilities, and other stakeholders to resolve problems and reach amicable solutions; 4) Encouraging program members' participation and elicits ideas to improve program performance, administrative repair turnaround time, and enhancements to WebRoR; 5) Analyzing data and identifying negative trends and areas requiring improvement.
