You will serve as an INTEGRATED PREVENTION COORDINATOR (PREVENTION WORKFORCE) in the TOTAL WORK FORCE MANAGEMENT DIRECTORATE (N1) of COMMANDER SUBMARINE FORCE PACIFIC. Duties

You will serve as an advisor and primary prevention expert throughout the Type Command (TYCOM). You will lead prevention program design and implementation, and execute related program management activities to promote healthy command climates. You will ensure delivery prevention programs, foster individual, team, and unit performance to prevent suicide, sexual harassment/assault, substance misuse, family/interpersonal/workplace violence, and disparate equal opportunity treatment. You will consult with and advise stakeholders, advocates, medical personnel and relevant organizations. You will recommend organizational procedures to promote communication and effective working relationships among regional installation Integrated Prevention Coordinators. You will advise TYCOM leaders on compliance with applicable policies and directives. You will contribute to Navy and DoD prevention reporting requirements and maintain program records.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector collecting and analyzing violence prevention information using database systems to improve or advocate for an organization's prevention program.
