You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) in the MANPOWER AND RESERVE AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will provide policy, procedures, and standards for the operation and maintenance of the Performance Evaluation System.
You will receive and screen all performance evaluations from across the Marine Corps.
You will provide functional and systems manager sponsorship for Automated Fitness Report System, Performance Evaluation System, and Automated Performance Evaluation System.
You will support Headquarters Marine Corps promotion, selection, and other boards by providing ad-hoc performance evaluation data reports, providing Performance Evaluation System briefs, and responding to discrepancy notices.
You will provide Professional Military Education presentations to local and field commands regarding Performance Evaluation System matters and other services of Manpower Management Performance.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Advising and training reporting officials on the regulatory and legal requirements, guidance and procedures for conducting and writing performance evaluation, and preparing supporting documentation on all Performance Evaluation System (PES) advisory opinions. 2) Developing recommended modifications to the Performance Evaluation System (PES) policies and procedures based on new legislation or changes to policies and directives. 3) Creating and monitoring the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and quality in the processing of performance evaluations and various requests for corrections.
