About the Position: Serves as a HR Specialist (Military) to the Chief, Human Resources, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-8 (DCS, G-8) and the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA(FM&C)). Applies data analytics concepts to build reports and presentations for leadership decisions or information in order to assess and forecast personnel strength and promotions, develop and sustain talent management, and to comply with readiness requirements.

Duties

Responsible for military personnel management and personnel actions for all officers. Subject matter expert for military personnel actions to include Assignment Interactive Module 2.0 (AIM2) Officer Talent Management and HQDA Prepositioned Selection lists. Subject matter expert on the conversion to Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPSA). Visits elements throughout the agency to assist operating personnel and management officials as requested or as determined by superiors.

  • May be required to work overtime.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
