Serves as a senior Quality Assurance Specialist and Team Leader over a team of quality assurance specialists performing quality assurance (QA), and radiological safety duties at the national/world-wide command management level for Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) support and the Radiological Safety Inspection Program.
Duties
Performs as a technical expert for accreditation matters and compliance with International Organization for Standardization (ISO/IEC 17025) requirements
Plan, develop and manage comprehensive Metrology Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) Quality Assurance program
Performs radiological safety inspections and audit schedules.
Recommends corrective actions on discontinuance of site calibration support activities.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- You must obtain and maintain a SECRET Security clearance.
- This position require TDY up to 50% at the time.

Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience in leading a technical management inspection team to manage a comprehensive assurance program to conduct audits for Test, Measurement, Diagnostic and Equipment (TMDE) Support quality processes worldwide; AND plan, develop, and carry out quality assurance technical inspections, and manage the USATA Technical Measurement Audit Program.
