About the Position: This position is located at Redstone Arsenal, AL. This is a Demonstration Project Position.
This position is located at the SRD Directorate /Quality Management Division.

Duties
Manage a comprehensive Quality Management program for Aviation systems and components.
Support a multi-functional team in support of the Quality Management Division mission.
Develop Quality Assurance (QA) policies, procedures, and test provisions for aviation systems.
Provide Quality Assurance technical expertise in support of development, sustainment, and product improvement.
Provide support for acceptance and fielding of material for U.S. and foreign customers.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 15% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the DE-03 level in the Federal Service which includes: Hands-on experience managing and leading a diverse Quality and Reliability Assurance organization, which include establishing essential quality standards and controls; ability to develop policies, procedures, test provisions, and quality requirements in specifications, standards, and solicitations; knowledge of aviation and missile life cycle quality management activities and requirements; and skill in resource allocation and budget.
