About the Position: US Army Aviation and Missile Command develops and delivers responsive aviation, missile and calibration materiel readiness to the United States Army. "This position has been identified as meeting the criteria to be placed on the NH-IV control point not to exceed the GS-14, step 10, base pay amount."

Duties

Develop plans and strategies to provide leadership to subordinate employees and organizations on quality matters related to sustainment of weapon systems. Brief and interact with senior military and civilian leaders to explain, advocate, and express facts and ideas on quality issues. Direct, develop, and/or implement quality policies, processes, initiatives, and/or programs for major, highly complex weapon systems sustainment. Define problems and develops recommendations for resolution of issues. Ensures coordination and/or participation in planning of all concerned functional elements. Ensure compliance with policies and recommends policy changes to fit requirements.
