You will serve as a FINANCIAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Systems Directorate, Code 560200 of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY.
Duties
You will prepare, formulate, and revise the division's direct and/or indirect/production budgets.
You will ensure the budget is consistent with financial and program objectives and limitations.
You will conduct reconciliations for accounting errors and overruns, prepare necessary documentation to correct discrepancies, and prepare problem acceptance forms and budget modifications when necessary.
You will help obtain and track funding associated with division research programs.
You will prepare financial reports, summaries, and graphs.
You will be responsible for procurement requests, credit card orders, and additional financial tasks/projects.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes at least one year of experience equivalent to the NO-01 pay band (GS-1/4 grade level equivalent) in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private and/or public sector. General experience shows the ability to 1) analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2) plan and organize work and 3) communicate effectively orally and in writing.
