You will serve as a Financial & Administrative Management Specialist in the Surface Electronic Warfare Systems Branch ofNAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY.
Duties
You will ensure that all charges entered into the branch/office and ERP financial databases are accurate, appropriate and properly designated with correct cost and accounting codes.
You will process all procurement and contracting actions for the branch.
You will provide ongoing monitoring of the management of project finances.
You will analyze problems and formulate results, and the ability to research, interpret and apply rules and regulation relative to management and accounting funds.
You are responsible for ensuring that cost overruns and financial discrepancies are quickly resolved.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience, one of which is equivalent to the next lower pay band (NO-01) or GS equivalent (GS-1/4) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties; 1. Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2. Plan and organize work; and 3. Communicate effectively orally and in writing

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree
