You will serve as a Financial & Administrative Specialist in the Remote Sensing, Code 720200 of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY.
Duties
You will assist in the management of the financial and accounting requirements of the Division and assist in budget formulation and execution.
You will ensure that all charges entered into division financial databases are appropriate and properly designated.
You will assist in the reconciliation of division records with NRL financial reports.
You will resolve cost overruns and discrepancies through contact with NRL and external program participants.
You will prepare financial reports and correspondence.
You will ensure all procurement requests and contract actions follow proper guidelines.
You will provide budget guidance to managers and their staff when planning, formulating or estimating funding requirements.
You will prepare procurement requests and purchase card requests
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-01/04) or pay band (NO-01) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience shows the ability to 1) Analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2) Planning and organizing work and; 3) Communicating effectively orally and in writing.

Successful completed a four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree
