About the Position: TACOM is located at the Detroit Arsenal in Warren, Michigan which is in Detroit's largest suburb located about 15 miles north of downtown. The area offers world-class museums, art galleries, concert halls, golf courses, several prestigious universities, and collegiate and professional athletic venues.

Duties

Prepares a variety of reports covering the status of funds, expenses, and obligations as required. Plans, analyzes, and prepares the annual funding requirements which consists of major and minor programs. Assists and coordinates preparation of monthly Funding Execution Review and Analysis, reviews content for accuracy and validity. Maintains cognizance of the organization’s financial plan through review of periodic cost summaries, review and analysis of those reports to include but not limited to recommend reprogramming actions to assure maximum utilization of available funds. Oversees the maintenance of informal records of obligations and expenditures for assigned programs.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Financial Management Certification Level 2 in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management within 2 years of employment.
