You will serve as the Management Support (MS) Administrative Team Lead in the Combat Systems Support Equipment (CSSE) Engineering Branch of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high-grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $156,323.)

Duties

You will analyze, plan, and coordinate Combat Systems Support Equipment (CSSE) Technical Working Groups, providing support services for Aegis Weapon Systems (AWS), Combat Systems (CS), and other surface Combatant programs. You will collaborate with various Training and Readiness Commands and PHD NSWC E43 for Electronic Cooling Water Systems (ECWS)/Power Conversion Systems (PCS) Trainer Interface Seminar/Train the Trainer (TIS/TTT) programs. You will apply configuration management and funding allocation practices, procedures, and processes to accomplish tasking and services. You will develop White Papers, Ship Change Documents (SCDs) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP). You will analyze and develop Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Task Planning Sheet (TPS) documentation to identify tasking requirements., contractual documents and other technical documentation. You will provide oversight and management of the CSSE Metrics and Action Items Database (MAID). You will communicate orally and in writing complex concepts, conduct high-level briefings, plans and schedules, organize, and coordinate projects and support systems investigations.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to perform occasional sea duty.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band (NT-04, GS-11-12 EQUIVALENT) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing performance data to develop training and process improvement plans in support of program goals.
