You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the PRODUCTION DIVISION, SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT BRANCH (PRW36) of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will be responsible for supervising all personnel and functions of the SupplyBranch, and is directly responsible for the quality and timeliness of the work produced by the branch. You will workload and adjusts resources to meet customer requirements, schedules and priorities. You will maintain a safe and positive working climate to encourage employee retention, participation, open communication, and teamwork. You will perform program management and oversight of the Supply Branch's functions.

  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Identifying and analyzing supply problems, evaluating solutions, and making recommendations; 2) Providing customer service to internal and external customers by delivering products and services, and committing to continuous process improvement; 3) Conducting supply management duties by use of a web-based Computer Maintenance Management System, supply management principles, inventory accountability, and warehouse or shop stores processes; and 4) Completing physical management reporting, financial reports, and data calls. .
