You will serve as a JOINT OPERATIONS PLANNER AND SECURITY ADVISOR in the Plans and Policy Directorate, under the Director for Maritime Operations of COMPACFLT OPERATIONAL PLANNERS.
Duties
You will coordinate the development, sustainment, and execution of Tiem Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) in support of critical combat and non-combat operations.
You will establish program goals and milestones, define supporting plan parameters, and implement broad technical policies.
You will develop briefs, point papers, and other material for presentations at Flag-level policy meetings.
You will develop long-range plans identifying critical support areas, resources and their availability, time requirements, and priorities.
You will serve as senior technical expert I the development of force flow projection and documentation.
You will identify and validate projected requirements, resources, training, equipment, and workloads.
You will research, implement, and ensure strict compliance with DOD and DON policies and procedures for physical and operational security.
You will provide updates and maintain personnel access lists and designation of personnel authorized to access COMPACFLT/N5 secure spaces.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing and synchronizing strategy and resource-informed (e.g., force readiness and availability; logistics and transportation systems capacity and capability; host nation support; contract support) plans for joint force employment in the maritime domain (e.g., joint operational planning; adaptive planning and execution (APEX) system; time-phased force and deployment data) for military crisis and contingency responses.
