The incumbent serves as a Management and Financial Analyst within the Finance and Services Branch, AMA-021.

Duties

Performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments under the minimal direction of a manager. May act as a contributing specialist on large work activities or as a project manager or team leader for large projects/activities. Works with management in the development, implementation, and administration of budget and financial policies, systems, and key management tools needed to manage and control national level programs. Gathers budget and financial statistical data and/or creates and generate reports.

  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Successful completion of a security investigation will be required.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H (GS/FG-12) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: experience in performing budget formulation and execution; experience in entering transactions in financial accounting systems, e.g., PRISM, Delphi, Regis; and experience in funds reporting, reconciliation, analysis and certification.In addition to the above, the following has been determined to be a Quality Ranking Factor (QRF). Applicants who possess this factor will be considered Well-Qualified.QUALITY RANKING FACTOR (QRF): Skill in creating financial data dashboards/visualizations in Tableau and/or Power BI to present information to management in a way that drives fact-based decision-making.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the vacancy announcement.
