You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL BUSINESS & INDUSTRIAL SPECIALIST of SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING BATH.
Duties
You will coordinate the overall matrix operations of the Production Office which encompasses matrix personnel supporting multiple programs and coordinating surge resource support to various project teams.
You will manage all assigned Project Office and as required supporting contractor personnel.
You will determine and assign priorities for work within the Production Office based on multi-site multi program requirements.
You will plan production office tasks, mange personnel assignments, establish work standards, review work performance to ensure the standards are being met and publish schedules as necessary.
You will coordinate work operations and support for multiple Program Manager's Representatives while managing assignments across SUPSHIP Directorates and function codes.
You will analyze information, identify actual or potential problems, and take action to resolve them.
You will identify resources necessary to accomplish overall Production Office objectives.
You will make decisions on work problems presented by subordinates and evaluate employees.
You will advise the Project Office Director on personnel training requirements and counsel subordinates on their individual training needs.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-02 (GS-11 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading or coordinating work operations to provide production support for a shipbuilding program.
