About the Position: The position is located at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE), Ft. Moore, Georgia 31905. The "Maneuver Center of Excellence" is located 100 miles south of Atlanta and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama. The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training. Public transportation and free parking is available.
Duties
Serve as Senior Program Analyst/Team Leader responsible for performing analytical and evaluative assignments to improve the use of resources.
Consult with commanders, agency chiefs, and functional technical specialists on specific needs and capabilities, lead times and costs.
Operate interdependently during technical review and analysis of cost estimates for various programs.
Review staff and process Memorandums of Understanding/Agreements for related resource impact.
Make recommendations for remedial action to higher authority.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position requires the incumbent obtain and maintain a Level 2 Department of Defense Financial Management (DoD FM) Certification within the first two years of employment into this position.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized which includes 1) Performing budget functions involving the justification, planning, programming, budgeting and/or financial execution of programs; and 2) Interpreting and applying financial policies and regulations for a variety of programs; and 3) Performing detailed analysis of program/project status to achieve organizational strategies and goals. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11.
