About the Position: This position is in Close Combat Lethality Task Force Office and is located at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCOE), Fort Benning, Georgia 31905. The Maneuver Center of Excellence is located 100 miles south of Atlanta and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia, and Phenix City, Alabama. The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training.
Duties
Lead operational, system, and technical architecture matters for the Close Combat Lethality Task Force (CCLTF) portfolios.
Serve as a multiple domain Cross Modernization Division System Architect to oversee the development and delivery of the modular enterprise architecture, engineering design, and implementation for the Close Combat Lethality Task Force efforts.
Develop, evaluate, recommend, and monitor the implementation of improvements to US Squad level infantry combat formation to ensure overmatch against pacing threats and strengthen the combat Lethality, resiliency and readiness of infantry squads.
Provide oversight for dynamic executable modeling projects in support of the overarching architecture development plan to identify capability gaps, seams and overlaps, and redundancies within and between architectures and (Continue below)
(Continue from above) measures against the entire doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, and facilities spectrum of solution considerations.
Advise and recommend concurrence/changes on architectural impacts to Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) across the CCLTF modernization portfolio.
Formulate and prepare correspondence, briefing in concise and comprehensive, recommending new or amended DoD-wide policy, guidance, and procedures pertaining to Joint concept development activities.
Represent the Director in scheduled events in matters of concern, interest, and responsibility.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
