Duties

Analyzing and evaluating areas of planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBES) for current and multi-year budgets and programs in support of the Army Futures Command Cross Functional Team. Advising Army Futures Command and Cross Functional Team (CFT) officials regarding the budgeting, accounting, and financial functions of the Solider Lethality CFT programs. Reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting legislation, appropriation language, and directives concerning Soldier Lethality Cross Functional Team programs. Analyzing Management systems to identify and resolve complex issues related to functional resourcing areas.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Secret Security clearance is required.
  • Financial Management Level III certification.
  • One year probationary period may be required.
  • You may be expected to travel up to 10% for this position.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementBudget AdministrationFinancial ManagementPrinciples of Finance Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
