This position will be filled within the FAA, Logistics Center, AJW-L210 and serve as a Customer Assurance Specialist (CAS) for the FAA Logistics Center Quality Systems Group, Customer Service Branch help desk.

Duties

Performs basic but progressively more difficult customer service assignments under the close direction of manager, team lead or more experienced professional. Applies basic knowledge applicable to customer assurance and limited experience to accomplish assignments. Serves as focal point for the customer to capture and resolve customer requisition request, complaints, concerns, inquires and disaster recovery efforts. In some cases, work will involve a hand-off of inquiries to subject matter experts (SME) located throughout the FAALC.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least ONE of the following:A) GENERAL EXPERIENCE - To qualify for this position at the FV-F level (GS/FG 5-9), you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least 3 years of progressively responsible general work experience, with at least 1 year equivalent to the FG/GS-4 level that demonstrates the ability to: 1) Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2) Plan and organize work; and 3) Communicate effectively orally and in writing.ORB) EDUCATION SUBSTITUTION - Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree gained from an accredited college or university.ORC) COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - Equivalent combinations of education and experience are qualifying.Refer to OPM's Operating Manual Qualification Standards: General Schedule Qualification Standards (opm.gov) for more information.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.Applicants may be asked to verify information on your application for employment with the FAA.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
