You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will provide advice and guidance to NAVSUP program managers regarding the design and development of new Integrated Product Support (IPS) approaches, concepts, practices, and methods.
You will establish goals, designates responsibilities, and interpret impact on overarching programs associated with life-cycle supply support logistics.
You will represent NAVSUP WSS as the Program Support Inventory Control Point (PSICP) on all program supply support issues, policies, and procedures.
You will ensure that supply support is fully planned and resourced, and that all supporting tasks are accomplished.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating a practical knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Integrated Product Support planning requirements and policies to support the planning, development, and impact of programs associated with life-cycle logistics of ships and weapon systems. Specialized experience may demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and directing supply support concepts and plans to ensure the appropriate types and levels of supply support are in place for PEO managed projects; 2) Providing advice and guidance to program managers regarding the design and development of new ILS approaches, concepts, practices and methods; 3) Tailoring Navy policy, concepts, and procedures to meet PEO program guidelines, stay within funding constraints, and ensure the organization's directives are incorporated into the support provisions of various contracts; and 4) Developing evaluation criteria and metrics for use throughout the life of the program or platform.
