You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS) within NAVSUP BUSINESS SYSTEMS CENTER 98 - ERP Services Department. This is the Release Manager position for the Navy ERP program, working in partnership with the program sponsor's Release Management lead, and government and contract Sustainment team members.

Duties
You will be responsible for managing the system functional requirements supporting Supply Chain Management business processes in the sustainment of production and configuration operations for Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
You will develop strategies, activities, and goals and objectives related to system defect and design project work from initial detection to final implementation.
You will be responsible for release management tasks for sustainment of the Navy ERP Information Technology (IT) solution across the Supply Chain Management functional teams.
You will research, identify problems, determine actions to improve program effectiveness, and propose new procedures and methods.
You will coordinate with customers and program managers to identify and specify system requirements.
You will provide expert technical advice and guidance to team members regarding Information Technology (IT) issues.
Requirements

- This is a Cyber Workforce position. You must obtain/maintain qualifications IAW DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Management Program 2/15/2023 and supporting DON policies, for role 641 level Intermediate within 9 mos. of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Demonstrating knowledge of Information Technology (IT) policies, procedures, and practices to manage system functional requirements. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Creating and/or modifying various functional or design documents; 2) Analyzing and resolving difficult supply chain management problems for the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system processes; 3) Coordinating with customers during the test phase of system changes or new system developments to ensure all requirements are met; 4) Providing Tier 3 release management support to all release deployment, planning, and execution activities; and 5) Creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for other team members to use as instructions and guidelines. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
