About the Position: District is seeking to fill a DPM, GS15 position located in the PPMD Division. The position requires a broad technical background and experience in various functions: a full and in-depth understanding of the Corps of Engineers, Civil Works, Military Construction, Environmental, Army and Air Force procedures; Congressional authorization and appropriation processes; and a strong management and supervisory background.
Duties
Confer with corporate managers to establish broad mission requirements and objectives, plan for accomplishment, review status and progress, provide management guidance and direction, and provide advice and/or decision on policy matters.
Directs the formulation of the district's ten-year civil works program and annual program budget.
As Chief of the Programs and Project Management Division (PPMD), supervises a staff of program and project managers, administrative and support team members.
Serves as an authoritative source for decisions and guidance dealing with compromises and changes in project objectives.
Supports the district's readiness posture by developing and periodically updating emergency and mobilization plans for the assigned organization.
Requirements
- Incumbent must obtain and maintain a T3 Secret security clearance.
- This position is designated as a Key position.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450.
- Incumbent may be required to serve a one-year supervisory probationary period.

Specialized Experience for GS-15: One year of specialized experience which includes experience 1) providing supervision and program development directing aspects of program planning, resourcing, policy guidance and overall staff operations for a multidisciplinary organization; and 2) providing guidance and oversight on the implementation of new strategic directions, procedures, processes or methods in two or more of the following areas: facilities planning, military construction, civil works, or environmental programs and projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job there is no education substitution for experience, you must qualify based on specialized experience.

Time in Grade Requirement GS-15: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
