About the Position: The Alaska District is seeking to fill a Program Manager position located in the Military Projects Management Branch. An ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously. They should enjoy working with others within a matrix organization to accomplish a specific task. Experience working within a fast-paced dynamic environment is highly desirable.

Duties

Administers assigned Program and as such is responsible for the overall management, control, coordination and execution of assigned programs and projects. Coordinates the planning, design, cost engineering, construction, and environmental considerations, etc., for a complex highly visible program and specific project deliverables of considerable scope and complexity. Controls and manages program and project milestones and budgets from planning through construction and closeout. Represents the District when dealing with the Program Customer, Non-Federal Sponsor, Major Command, Director of Public Works, Installation Engineers, MACOM Staff, other support agencies, other local state, federal, and tribal authorities.
