You will serve as a CAREER RESOURCE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the TRANSITION READINESS PROGRAM (TRP) OF MARINE CORPS COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR.
Duties
You will interview job seekers for general assessment of the knowledge, skills, and abilities and direct them to internal or external resources for employment consideration.
You will administer and interpret career management tests.
You will maintain a client records system.
You will facilitate transition programs, seminars, and workshops.
You will present workshops for resume preparation, federal employment, and interview techniques.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing job referral, job placement counseling. and administering career assessments..

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
Successfully completed 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
Successfully obtained an LL.B. or J.D., if related
or
Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above.
