You will serve as a SPECIAL VENTURE ACQUISITION PROGRAM SPECIALIST in the ???????ASSET MANAGEMENT BUSINESS LINE of NAVFAC OSF.

Duties

You will prepare and analyze reports on a variety of administrative topics such as procurement, budget, or travel. You will use automated systems for management reports and presentations. You will present findings on unresolved real property issues to appropriate personnel. You will recommend solutions to procurement problems and take corrective action. You will create supporting documentation for real property to substantiate property records.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Utilizing a wide range of realty and housing management principles, policies and methods to analyze issues and assist in developing solutions for practical applications; 2) Applying business practices and market conditions applicable to Special Venture Acquisition program such as: acquisition, housing, lodging, real estate, counsel, engineering, planning, utilities, environmental and financial management, project management; 3) Provides support related to acquisition, contracting and business specializations such as negotiation, cost estimates, price analysis and financial work products etc.; 4) Reviews progress of assigned projects via cost estimates, schedules and performance requirements using established methods and procedures; 5) Collaborates with stakeholders and preparing briefings, studies and other presentation to management official and/or stakeholders..
