You will serve as a SHORE RESPONSE & EXERCISE PLANNING PROGRAM MANAGER in the OPERATIONS, TRAINING AND EXERCISES of COMNAVREG MIDLANT NORFOLK.
Duties
You will synchronize exercise plans with the Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS) database and draft of Exercise Directives for CNIC and Region sponsored exercises.
You will design and conduct comprehensive assessments and studies and develop solutions to broad, important training assessments.
You will steer discussions with senior action officers in order to extract high-level training issues, identify and correct problems, and support accurate presentation of CNRMA's position.
You will serve as the principal advisor on all matters relating to CNRMA shore response and exercise planning.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) identifying and evaluating key emerging and training issues in shore programs relative to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and high yield explosive (CBRNE) threats; terrorist threat, ant-terrorism, and counter terrorism; Emergency Preparedness; Air Operations; and Port Operations; 2) drafting Exercise Directives for Organization and Region sponsored exercises; and 3) analyzing and developing cohesive and robust training plans and exercises to recommend improvements in operations and objectives.
