You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST for the BUSINESS MANAGEMENT & TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONAL with the NIPO FMS FIELD OFFICE.
Duties
You will serve as the technical authority over personnel and information security programs requiring the application of new theories and development to security problems.
You will assist in the development of organization policy, procedures, and methods for implementation and administration of the command security program.
You will analyze and organize work and assignments of function to improve accomplishment of work.
You will review operating functions to identify areas requiring improvement.
You will represent the command at meetings and briefings regarding personnel and information security programs.
Requirements
- This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Knowledge of security specialties to resolve conflict in policy and objectives. Knowledge of developing innovative approaches to satisfy customer needs. Knowledge of budgetary requirements based on current missions. Knowledge of developing new theories to solve security problems.
