You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY OFFICER in the REGION FORCE PROTECTION/ANTITERRORISM PROGRAM, PUBLIC SSAFETY ORGANIZATION of HDQTRS NDW.
Duties
You will observe effectiveness of operational procedures to institute corrective measures that improve operations.
You will administer and direct the Information, Physical, Personnel, Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection, and Industrial programs according to Dept. of Defense and Navy regulations, instructions, and policies.
You will participate in the long range planning efforts that affect the capability of the organization to enhance security posture.
You will oversee the implementation of financial management programs (e.g., cost planning, program budgeting, financial related management) for adherence to budgetary guidance.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Managing an Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) and Security/Law Enforcement Program; 2) Conducting research and analysis of Security and AT/FP policies, doctrines, and guidelines to make related policy decisions to implement all levels of security and AT/FP requirements; 3) Evaluating and implementing new or evolving security and AT/FP technologies benefit and applicability to ensure proper inclusion in long-range planning evaluations and ensure that an all-inclusive, cost-effective Fleet AT/FP capability is developed and maintained; and 4) Leading and providing technical expertise to study groups tasked with developing innovative and comprehensive approaches to AT/FP and influence positive change to national, agency and departmental doctrine.
