About the Position: You will serve as a Human Resources (HR) Specialist (Military) performing a full range of services in support of officers, warrant officers, and enlisted soldiers assigned to the United States Army Criminal Investigation Division (DACID).
Duties
Submit and monitor all requisitions, pinpointing assignments, and providing recommendations on all assignment or reassignment actions and command strength.
Assist with maintaining database accuracy and reports systemic discrepancies to USACIDC leadership.
Provide direct support to three brigade-level commands, and agencies located in over 90 geographical locations worldwide.
Serve as the command subject matter expert for the Military Evaluations Programs and the Evaluation Entry System.
Responsible for staffing for consideration all requests for exceptions to policy pertaining to military evaluation processing and develops procedures for delivering effective HR services.
Scrub promotion and selection lists providing command analysis and forwards to the CG’s designated representatives.
Provide military personnel documents to the USACIDC and the Office of the Provost Marshal General staffs from military human resources systems, as required.
Prepare strength reports used to prepare staff update briefs to higher headquarters; prepares Officer and Warrant Officer Laydowns; Command Strength Reports; Evaluation Status Updates; and other reports, as required.
Serves as the command subject matter expert for the Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A) responsible for full implementation and CRM management. Requires in-depth technical knowledge of IPPS-A.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: develop policies and procedures pertaining to military personnel actions, resolve complex human resource problems and issues, provide technical knowledge of military human resource automated systems, and prepare strength management reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
