You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS of MARCORPS NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION.
Duties
You will perform IT/Telecommunications logistics analyses on interrelated issues for logistics policy to be implemented and logistics support requirements for new initiatives.
You will review, research, develop, and prepare briefs and position/issue papers on logistical concerns effecting IT/Telecom investments, acquisitions, sustainment and modernization to leadership.
You will plan, schedule, and conduct evaluations of logistics operations, procedures, and organizational structures, identify problems or deficiencies and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of logistics operations.
You will develop analytical techniques for measuring IT/Telecom maintenance and logistics effectiveness and evaluate agency-wide programs, to include isolating, identifying, and recommending solutions to critical problems.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assessing, developing, staffing maintenance management plans, policies, procedures and conducting assessments over Department of Defense information communications technology.
