About the Position: You will serve as a Management Analyst with the Defense Forensic and Biometric Agency responsible for capturing, analyzing and coordinating the validation process of the forensic and biometric requirements across the Department of Defense warfighter, intelligence and business mission area.
Duties
Advise Program Division Chief on the methods, procedures and processes for strategic forensic and biometric enterprise requirements.
Prepare responses to all internal and external audits, congressional inquiries, and investigative reports.
Coordinate with Acquisition Executive to ensure forensic and biometric capabilities support the operational requirements of the Organization.
Synchronize new or improved forensic and biometric business and management practices throughout internal/external agencies.
Conduct oversight of forensic and biometric enterprise validated requirements, procedures, and program evaluation plans.
Ensure acquisition programs conform to an overall Forensic and Biometric architecture and other consensus based standards.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position is designed critical-sensitive requiring incumbent to possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- Applicant selected for movement into positions covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program must sign DA Form 5019-R and must pass urinalysis drug testing as required prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes participating in the validation process of forensic and biometric requirements; providing oversight of the forensic and biometric capabilities, shortfalls and redundancies; and coordinating with project managers and end users in support of the forensic and biometric Joint Capabilities Integration and Development Systems and life-cycle sustainment processes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13)
