You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the SAFETY PROMOTION DEPARTMENT of NAVSAFECOM.
Duties
You will collect and analyze studies on safety mishap, hazard, assessment, and inspection information to derive safety awareness products.
You will conduct analysis of information and internally generated products from safety assessments, hazard reports, and other safety and risk management information to develop concise, readable safety awareness products.
You will work directly with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), safety managers, safety specialists, safety schools and centers in the analysis and evaluation of findings and requirements for further study.
You will communicate safety awareness through various redundant paths to ensure widespread dissemination of important safety and risk management information.
You will organize key information, build briefs and case studies, and write papers and reports in both formal and conversational stylers to support the effort of safety awareness dissemination.
You will assist in the development of appropriate changes to doctrine, organization, training, material, leadership, personnel, and facilities based on Lessons Learned.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following:
1) Conveying written information in a clear, concise, and organized manner for the intended audience, using correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Expressing thoughts persuasively and using effective modes including formal and conversational styles to reinforce message retention and understanding. Reviewing and redacting documents;
2) Identifying and analyzing problems; weighing relevance and accuracy of information; seeking/generating and evaluating alternative perspectives/solutions; making timely/effective recommendations, based on potential implications of findings or conclusions;
3) Performing work such as preparing, receiving, reviewing, and verifying documents; maintaining office records (both digital and physical); locating and compiling data or information from files; compiling information for reports; keeping a calendar and informing others of deadlines and other important dates; and similar clerical support work within an organization;
4) Performing administrative support duties under the direction and supervision of Staff Attorney to provide and administer legal services in support of military justice matters, administrative discharges, and other accountability actions;
5) Using computers or related data processing technology to perform routine clerical work (e.g., writing, filing, distributing documents) where the primary purpose is to provide general office clerical support.
