This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for AcqDemo Business and Technical Management Career Path (NH) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serve as an Acquisition Analyst exercising independent judgment in planning, organizing, and directing the contractual aspects of assigned programs within constraints.

Duties

Plan, develop and establish the contractual strategy for the overall acquisition program for the organization. Responsible for the full range of acquisition planning and contract management functions required to support a project. Serve as a primary representative on contract related task forces. Make reports to higher headquarters on status of contracts. Prepare and maintain current acquisition plans, appropriate milestone charts and related schedules.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Overseeing the full range of acquisition planning and contract management functions required to support a project; 2) Experience performing the strategy, plans, and techniques of pre-award and post-award functions involving highly specialized procurements for programs/projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02/GS-11 equivalent.
