This vacancy is for a PROGRAM ANALYST position in the Center for New Media and Promotion located at the U.S. Census Bureau Headquarters in Suitland, Maryland. The Census Bureau is accessible from the Metro Rail Green Line - Suitland Station.

Duties
Conducting detailed analyses of complex functions and work processes of administrative and technical programs relating to user experience (UX), customer experience (CX), and web customer analytics.
Developing new methods, organizational structures, and management processes to improve user experience (UX), customer experience (CX), and website presentation/structure.
Directing teams of employees and/or contractors in assessing, designing, developing, testing, monitoring, and reporting web user experience (UX) and customer experience (CX) indicators.
Advising program managers on methods and procedures, management surveys, management reports, and trend interpretations.
Recommending strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of digital customer experience operations.

Specialized Experience: For the GS-12, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to a GS-11 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes: implementing strategies to enhance the customer experience by providing analysis and advice on matters pertaining to trends and indicators in customer interactions; analyzing and monitoring web-based performance measurement to ensure optimal performance of websites; conducting analysis of website usability performance metrics, usage of third-party reports on web traffic, and customer satisfaction data; utilizing Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics to collect data from websites and/or applications; creating and delivering management productivity reports.
Education: To qualify for this GS-12 position, education cannot be used to substitute for experience.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer work.
